KA NAN

Infinite praises are ONLY (not me nor you!) due to Allah for His mercy, graciousness, tolerance, patience, forgiveness, kindness and all His perfect-excellent attributes which are incomparable to anything that ever existed on the face of this planet.

We ask for Allah's on-going taufeeq, hidayah and that He forgives us for all the sins we've committed in the past whether we were aware of it or not, intentional or not, done publicly or privately, past, present and future.

Those who had gone astray can't be helped unless if Allah allows it and those who had picked this road called islam, as their way of life, nothing can shake them, not unless Allah lets it. There is nothing worthier than obtaining the blessings of Allah, be it money, wealth or status.

Whats here will have its sorry end and whats available during the hereafter, that's permanent! whichever way you see it and whichever way you wanna put it.

Alhamdulillah, we thank Allah again for the things He's given to us, for the signs He has shown, for the wonderful things he had bestowed upon us, humans. The air that we breath, we thank Him for these eyes so that we can see and take heed of the array of creations He had created.

Not only that, but for His Mercy and Graciousness. We can come to Allah with a body full of sin, He will forgive us. We can run to Allah with a face full of mud, He will cleanse it and even if we FILL this earth with our wrong deeds, He will STILL forgive us, just as long as we don't submit ourselves other than Him or create and ally for Allah. ONLY IF we are sincere! 3 types of person thrown in hell!

Glad-tidings are only for those who follows what Allah and His prophet had commanded and AVOID ALL that has been forbade! And those who let their nafs take control over their lives will soon realize what a BIG MISTAKE they've done.

Mudahan tane tergolong di dalam golongan orang2 yang sentiasa berada di jalan yang lurus dan bukan jalan yang bengkok. Ameen ya rabb..

So, i was driving the other day and started thinking.

Y'know when someone drives on the right lane and drives like he/she owns the road, you know what im talkin bout. So, we'd get so annoyed (iman check!?) of the people especially when its rush hour. Like all of a sudden, everyone wants to be efficient, everyone wants to wake up early and have an early stroll on the highway.

Unfortunately, we dont live in a perfect world. People spit here and there, we backbite, we trash talk, we dont give salam, well we do but only to those people whom we KNOW! we don't flush, we don't keep the lid up and we throw garbage outside their window, we smoke even though NO-SMOKING sings are right in front of us, and etc.

So you see, how interesting Allah's creation is. Its not like the sims where you can control everything, well, we cant really coz by the end of the week, we cant even take out the trash, clean the toilet and do the laundry. And on monday, stench will begin to arise, negative aroma will fill up the living room and hall.

By Allah, He can do that, He can take care of things because He created everything. He knows our weaknesses, He knows who we like, who we hate and so on. It doesn't matter if you say it out LOUD or laugh out LOUD, whether you whisper behind closed doors, or do a private chat in your room, HE knows everything.

Lemme spell it out for you, ALLAH K N O W S!

So, anyway, those who's driven on the right lane knows the "pressure" that comes along with being "the right lane user".

Either you move aside or step on your gas coz sooner or later, or if you don't keep UP, the car behind you will soon, give you that "stare/glare?"

Masya Allah, indeed Allah has given so many sings and warnings for us to ponder on and take lessons from.

In this case, in the quran, Allah mentioned a few times specifically directing the verse to the "right". So, in many ways, right can be referred to as righteousness, piety, taqwa, amaf ma'ruf nahi mun'kar (Al Balad verse 13-17)/ Al Muddatstsir verse 39)

What im trying to emphasis here is that there WERE muslims who fought battles after battles, relentlessly try'n to KEEP UP with the standards set by the Prophet and they were the COMPANIONS of the prophets. May Allah grant them peace..

Being the right hand men of rasulullah must be once heck of a job. I mean, having to pray 5 times a day in the mosque, having to go to his sermons, having to give ALL of your wealth for Allah's sake, having to wake during the night for qiyamullail and so on.

Not only that, but the people around the prophets were pushing themselves over the limit because they KNEW they will REAP the benefits one day in jannah. They tried SO HARD to kill their nafs that, one of them fainted due to extreme hunger! Subhanallah!

When was the last time we've heard of such melancholy state? The exact same situation is in fact happening in third world countries or maybe OUR own NEIGHBORS!, babies are dying, kids are eaten alive by vultures, single mothers are begging for a drop of water while their vision slowly turn blurry and consequently they die without even knowing where Brunei is.

Sad innit? But during the times of the Prophet, the companions did JUST THAT, they didn't beg, but they were always trying to be like the prophet.

You've heard the story about one day the just after the prophet finished praying fajr AT THE MOSQUE, and he asked his wife, "Is there any food to it..?" The wife then said, "No, ya rasulullah". With a smile, he replied by saying, "I just fast then.." Allahu akbar!

Can you just imagine IF we had lived the time of the prophet? We'd be OWNED. We'd be struggling so bad to keep up the prophet and the companions pace that we'd just hide under our blankets and hope the next day would be stress-free.

Not to say that none of the companions complained, some of them did but only because the prophet wanted them to progress further and so that they KNOW the meaning of being a true believer.

Have you ever heard someone said, "yeah, I HAVE TAQWA!" or "oh yeah, I think I've become someone who is close to Allah!"

Lemme tell you guys, these things you can just express it verbally. Its thru our actions and speech only we are able to gain such amazing heights.

You know the surah in Al Baqarah verse 8 and Al 'Ankabuut verse 10 Allah tells us that there ARE people who are like this, these things I don't make UP, there are evidence, proof!

We are here, NOW and we're still unable to even come close to the sunnah of the prophet, let alone the tabi'een. We are so weak that maybe just maybe, if we DID live during the time of the prophet, we'd be labeled a TWO-FACE. Naudzubillah..

Why? Coz we tell others the things they oughta do but we, ourselves don't do it. I remember one hadis that more or less sounded, "What I fear is a munafik who is well-versed!"

Masya Allah my friends, we fear for Allah's wrath, we fear that He labels us as those who will we put into jahannam, al falaq, saqar and wail, we fear that He might not recognize the so-called deeds we've done. If He does not "see" it, what makes us think, the rest of His creatures or creations will? To stand as our witness? Even and ANT wont testify for us! LIKE ONE ANT! Just one ant!

We beg every second for his kindness and that He grants us calmness in our hearts especially during the day of awakening where every soul will be in sorrow, in remorse, in dismay and in a sorry state..

We fear that we are those who are already listed as those who will be tormented in jahannam for eternity and we'd be thinking of going back to this world, we'd be reminiscing the things we did with our scandals, the awful things we do to our mouth, our hands, and the things we had swallowed, haram or not!

Beloved friends, we can't really be guaranteed jannah by doing what we do now, we think we're a regular in the mosque, we think we're always reciting the quran, we think we're done some good and we think we've done a muslim should. Why?

Coz one day the prophet said to the companions that none of you will enter jannah except for Allah's mercy/grace..And then one of the companion said, "even you o Rasulullah..?" The prophet replied, "Even I..".

Can you just imagine, in any second now, we are really playing with our fate, we say this and that, we do pushups, we do sit-ups but really for what!? To impress others? To impress Allah what you've got!? By Allah, He owns everything! How can we compare???

Let alone, how DARE WE COMPARE OURSELVES to someone. Think'n that we're all-that, we can do this, we can do that. Remember, syaitan will always create havoc causing detrimental affect on our iman (if we have any) that it goes so low that we don't even know what hit us.

That's what happened when you let arrogance and pride sinks in.

Remember, we're this and that because of Allah's decision and NOT because of US. Allah can just EASILY, turn the clock and make us filthier that animals that plays in mud, degraded lower than what a person should be.

He is able to turn the day into night, He is able to move this earth, He is able to create something out of NOTHING, He can makes us perish in one blow, just like what happened in Haiti, He can crush us and it doesn't even matter to Him because He has EVERYTHING, we got none.

Dear friends, always bear in mind that we're not supposed to judge others coz that ain't our job. Our job is to make sure that we act/behave according to the quran and the sunnah such much so that our cloak is the sunnah and our heart becomes attached to Allah. Elevating/progressing your spirit but withering your physical essence is never the right way. And if you do feel you've progressed, just keep it to yourselves and don't BRAG ABOUT it coz you'll just threw away 365 days but not limited to, worth of effort.

Subhanllah, we aint got nothing guys and we'll only know if we're a true somebody when we stand in front of Allah one day.

We humbly beg for Allah's forgiveness day in day out because nothing can do that but Allah because Allah has that ABILITY. We pray that Allah puts us in jannah and keep us away from, even the smell of jahannam. We pray that Allah keeps us steadfast to live under His mandate and jurisdiction. We pray that Allah gives us a pure heart and remove all the black spots or stains that surely exists in our hearts.

Ya Allah, to You we all will return one day and before that day arrives, help us to help ourselves and protect us from the evil that is within us and that surrounds us because you can Allah..love us the way you love the prophet

Wassalamu'alaikum

An 'ouch' entry but good, thanks for that. It does feel like someone is scolding me, but its a good one. We do need a 'penampar' every now and then to remind us about our mistakes and our 'kelalaian'.
